Historic Bank Building on East Market Street |
The historic bank building has some nice features: vari-colored brick featuring natural red clay and chocolate brown colors; ribbons at the top of the building. The brick above the windows is laid in a contrasting vertical direction, though it cannot easily be seen. The current awnings are metal, painted brown.

North Side of East Market Street: Long View of Sidewalk |
Some sections of the broad sidewalk have already been improved by adding brick over the concrete. Traditional lampposts are visible. This is a view standing near the corner of Third Avenue, looking down the north (left) side of East Market Street toward Fort Mountain and the talc mill.
